Junaid Malik
Founder, Product Engineer & Technical Lead
Wakefield, United Kingdom
Simam Digital is led by Junaid Malik, a product engineer and technical lead with more than 11 years of hands-on product and engineering delivery, who works across product strategy, architecture, interaction design, and hands-on implementation. Clients get senior thinking from the first conversation through delivery.
Junaid began in games, commercially releasing the PlayStation Vita title Voyage of Kepler 186f while at university. That foundation in real-time systems and player experience still shapes how Simam Digital makes complex software intuitive, visual, and engaging.
Across 11+ years of delivery, his work has spanned enterprise software, broadcast, infrastructure, events, training, and immersive technology. Experience includes projects connected to Cadbury, Mondelez, Unilever, HS2, Highways England, Network Rail, Sky, Vodafone, A2RL, Focal Point VR, Magnopus, VLGE, and Myriad Global Media.
Today, Simam Digital brings that breadth together to build AI-enabled products, SaaS platforms, digital twins, XR training systems, simulations, and live interactive experiences with the technical depth to move beyond the demo.
Four working tools for AI readiness and digital transformation. No account and no sales call — each one hands you a result you can act on and share, in minutes.

People buy outcomes, not hours. These sprints package discovery, AI workflow mapping, prototyping, MVP delivery, and ongoing product engineering into clear starting points.
90-minute workshop, technical feasibility, architecture outline, roadmap, and budget estimate for founders and early ideas.
A focused 2-week build path for authentication, dashboard, backend, deployment, and demo-ready product proof.
Add a practical AI feature, chatbot, automation, deployment support, and documentation to an existing workflow or product.
Flexible contract, agency support, staff augmentation, and embedded technical delivery when you already know what you need.
Four guides, no email required. The interactive tools above will get you further, but these are the ones to send round a management meeting.
Selected past work across AR, VR, WebGL and real-time 3D. The live platforms above grew out of a decade of builds like these.
3D Web Event AppA browser-based virtual event platform: explore event spaces, attend live sessions and network with other participants.
VR Airport TrainingA VR training simulator for airport maintenance teams — hands-on practice in a controlled virtual environment.
3D Pollution VisualizationAn interactive Unity platform illustrating the impact of pollution on the environment.
AR City ViewerSuperimposes 3D models of proposed developments onto real landscapes to show how new construction fits its surroundings.
Driving Mini GameAn on-track driving mini-game built as a WebGL experience for the browser.
Business Digital TwinA prototype that replicates a client’s online services inside a 3D mini-game environment.
VR Driving SafetyReal-life driving situations simulated in VR, so users practise safe driving in a controlled environment.
WebGL Brand Mini GameAn interactive browser game where players explore a client’s offerings — built for visibility and engagement.

3D Presentation VisualsDetailed 3D models and visualisations built to support a client presentation.Open whichever one applies. If yours is not here, just ask — it reaches the person who would build it.
AI software, SaaS platforms, digital twins, Gaussian spatial tools and XR products — taken from strategy and prototype through to a live, running product.
Every project shown on this site is our own build, live in a browser right now. See the showcase.
Faster than most studios quote. An Idea Validation Sprint is a 90-minute workshop that ends with a feasibility review, an architecture outline and a costed roadmap — not a proposal three weeks later.
A Rapid MVP Sprint puts a working product proof in front of you in roughly two weeks: authentication or user flow, product interface, backend and a deployed demo. Larger production builds run longer, and the date is agreed before work starts rather than discovered during it.
Idea Validation Sprint £495. AI Integration Sprint £1,995. Rapid MVP Sprint from £2,995.
Beyond the sprints: prototypes and proofs of concept from £2,800, a branded MVP from £9,000, a production build from £28,000, and advisory or retainer work from £1,500 a month. The full ladder is on pricing and offers.
The browser, first. Most of what we make is a URL — it opens on a phone, a laptop and a headset with no install, no store review and no download, and it updates the moment we deploy.
Where a headset build is genuinely the right answer, WebXR reaches Meta Quest, Apple Vision Pro and Android XR from a single codebase. Native iOS, Android and Windows when there is a specific reason to go native.
Maritime, industrial and energy, construction and highways, aviation and logistics, civic and urban planning, culture and heritage, sport and venues, healthcare, and AI tooling for SMEs.
The work is built against each sector rather than reused wholesale — which is why the portfolio is full of working software instead of case-study PDFs.
Yes, and that is rather the point. Fourteen builds are live and open in a browser with no sign-up, alongside our own Gaussian capture library and a set of free AI decision tools.
All of it is studio research, built at our own cost. No client waited while we learned.
Simam Digital is founder-led. The person who scopes your project is the person who builds it, so there is no handover to a delivery team you have never met.
Where a build needs more hands, they are brought in around that — not in place of it.
Share the commercial goal, operational challenge, or product opportunity. You will receive a senior response focused on the clearest route forward.
A few sentences about the product, workflow, audience, or operational problem are enough.
Share your company, approximate budget, and desired timing if those details are already known.
Carry the brief into a 15-minute Calendly call or send it directly by email.
Bring the idea, operational challenge, or early product. We will turn the ambiguity into a clear product direction, a credible first release, and a route to production.
Share the outcome you need, the obstacle in the way, or the product you want to launch. Your brief goes directly into a senior project conversation.
